July 3rd 2017 Yesterday I went out for lunch with friends. Since summer has finally come, we decided to go up on Genova hills. Actually, we took the funicular near home and in three stops we were inside the nature in the urban park of “Parco Urbano delle Mura” . Since the temperature was chiller than in the town, we were quite hungry : we decided to taste the pizza by meter! It was funny, since we had to choose four different types of pizza to be fit in one meter and then share it all together. As per below photo, this lunch was quite challenging! Further to the meter of pizza, we tasted the typical “farinata” – made by chick peas flour and extra virgin olive oil – and “Focaccia al formaggio” – which is made up by two thin lays of puff pastry whith plenty of “stracchino” and “prescinseua” cheese inside. As you can imagine, finish all the above food was hard but in the end we managed to do it J Indeed, at the end of lunch we left some space for dessert: a tasty and sweet “panna cotta” with chocolate – which is a sort of pudding made up by condensed cream. Leaving the restaurant we were quite overloaded, but definitely satisfied of our lunch. We went for a walk on the hills and tried to digest at least one slice of the eaten pizza!
